Strange Little Habits

So at the end of the year, my students do this project where they choose their favorite piece(s) from the year, self and peer edit, submit for final review and then for publication. They are completely responsible for time management, working within an assigned committee, and then providing constructive and beneficial feedback first to students within their own class block and then to peers within other blocks. Throughout this process, I just facilitate/meander around my room & soak in all the awesome giftedness. It's a win-win; the students generally like the freedom & I get to read and re-read their best stuff all over again. It's insane. Have I mentioned that I have the best job ever?

The piece I want to share today is by a rad student named Eric Karl :). His short story is called "Strange Little Habits" & it's a doozy. Click it, click it!!

Hands down, no question, I have the best job ever <3

Thanks for reading :)
